Valley is a 501c3 organization that benefits from the generous support of donors through the United Way of the Wabash Valley, the Wabash Valley Community Foundation, the Parke County Community Foundation, the Vermillion County Community Foundation, our fundraisers, grants and in-kind donations.

Valley relies on these sources of income in order to maintain our mission of accommodating children of all income levels. The board and staff maximizes every dollar and constantly looks for ways to reduce expenses yet maintain the high level of service our parents expect and deserve.

The board, with staff recommendations, maintains and prioritizes a "wish list" of programs and equipment for which we actively seek funding. Our current list includes:

  • new roof-- approx. $55,000.
  • replace tile flooring

In-kind donations of material and labor for day-to-day maintenance and repairs are always appreciated. The Wabash Valley Community Foundation offers an on-line donation site called Wabash Valley Gives. Go to http://www.wvcf.com/wabashvalleygives/, select one of Valley's projects from the list and send your donation electronically. Contact Cindy to find out more about how you can support Valley.
